Broadband Provisioning

NETadmin automates the handling of service orders, subscriptions, provisioning and network inventory – all to let users instantly activate any service or access any content from any provider – on demand. Our goal is that all necessary steps in the fulfilment process of a service, ranging from allocation of network resources to communicating with external service systems, should be fully automated. This means that what normally several hours of work by a skilled technician should be possible with the click of a button. NETadmin puts a ‘Play’ button on your network!

One of the most important business processes which is supported by the NETadmin system is the service fulfilment process. This process starts with the placement of a service order and ends with its fulfilment.

Service ordering and provisioning are important activities and take place on a daily basis in our customers’ operation. The NETadmin system was built with the goal of automating and simplifying this process as much as possible, which produce valuable results:

  • minimizing the time required to connect a customer, making it possible to connect more customers per week
  • reducing the number of people involved in each process
  • minimizing the risks of human error.
  • documentation of every transaction leads to traceability and control

One of the key principles of the design of the service fulfilment module is to make service design flexible, powerful but still quick and simple. This goal is achieved by breaking down the various provisioning processes into smaller, re-usable, blocks which in combination form the complete chain of provisioning tasks. NETadmin can manage any network device with open IP based management interfaces either directly or indirectly through an Element Manager or Network Management System. This openness and dynamic structure of the service fulfilment module gives you the possibility to quickly and easily adapt your OSS environment to new network technologies, access technologies and network equipment vendors.

Key Points
  • A quick and easy management of service orders are essential to achieve extensive automation.
  • NETadmin Order Management can automate an entire supply chain as well as booking of logical broadband network elements like VLAN and IP-addresses.
  • One system to control all parts of your network, ranging from the customer-premises equipment to access, distribution and core network layers.
