Netadmin Systems, a Swedish developer of software that automates operation and business processes in open city networks, residential networks and other broadband networks, has struck a partnership deal with Norwegian systems integrator Popkorn AS. Popkorn will be marketing, selling and installing Netadmin's systems in Norway.
The system – market leading in Sweden – is currently used by dozens of Norwegian network owners. However, the Norwegian market potential is considerable, and Netadmin now intends to take charge of it by means of this partnership. "Popkorn works in a professional and structured manner while contributing great experience and competence. With their experience of the telecom business and solution-oriented way of work, Popkorn will be able to help customers find an effective and stable total solution to support their business. Ultimately, this will lead to increased market coverage, not to mention professionally performed implementations on the Norwegian market," said Matthias Trygg, CEO of Netadmin. About the NETadmin Automation Software The fully automated system is very advantageous to users and network owners alike. Subscribers can activate desired services through a portal by themselves, and access them immediately. They may, for instance, choose a desired bandwidth, pick an internet service provider, or temporarily subscribe to a certain TV channel. To the network owner, the system means considerably reduced operation costs and the ability to handle multiple times the current number of service subscribers using only existing resources. It also provides necessary flexibility when new service providers are connected and when new services, such as IP telephony or HDTV, are launched. About Popkorn AS Netadmin already enjoys an established partnership with Norwegian Cumulus, making Popkorn its second Norwegian partner. |
