| NETadmin helps Teracom establish “open broadband” on the Swedish market |

According to a recently struck deal, media operator Teracom will use advanced operation and business processes automation systems from Linköping-based company Netadmin in their broadband networks. The system handles open broadband networks with very high accessibility and service availability requirements. The Teracom group offers radio, TV, broadband, telephony and IP TV services in its national infrastructure. Being the operator of a large number of metropolitan, regional and residential broadband networks in all of Sweden, the group needs strong system support, not least in order to manage an increasing number of network services effectively. ”Netadmin has ten years of broadband network automation experience, they have really good network provisioning support, and they support open networks in their product strategy,” says Magnus Oldenburg, IT director of Teracom. “Above all, Netadmin shares our ideas of what good system support is when facing an expected explosive growth in IP TV-based open broadband networks.” ”Our goal with this deal is to help Teracom become a successful media operator,” said Anders Lindén, CEO of Netadmin Systems. The NETadmin system has taken the market by storm. Netadmin has quickly become the Nordic market leader and holds a sixty percent market share in Sweden. An important reason behind the system’s attractiveness is that it automates operations so effectively that many broadband network owners have been able to cut down their support and engineering staff by half. About Teracom Teracom is Sweden’s first media operator. The corporate group consists of parent company Teracom and subsidiary Boxer TV-Access. They provide services within radio, TV, broadband, digital customer communications, and placement and service in their countrywide infrastructure.
