Netadmin keeps expanding on the Norwegian market, enters delivery agreement with Tafjord Mimer |
|
Swedish company Netadmin Systems has struck a deal with Norwegian broadband service provider Tafjord Mimer concerning delivery and installation of NETadmin, software that automates operation and business processes in citywide and residential broadband networks.
This step will enable Tafjord Mimer to simplify the introductions of new customers and services in the company’s network, and to make them more effective.
“We have worked towards the goal of increasing our level of automation and decreasing the delivery times of our broadband services for several years. NETadmin is strong in the areas we find most important when continuing this work: flexibility when automating hardware, possible self-service for customers, and the possibility of integrating other systems. Netadmin understands the challenges in our business and offers the right solutions to them. All in all, this makes NETadmin the right choice for us,” said Eyvind Baadnes, Director of Technology at Tafjord Mimer.
“We are currently reaping the rewards in Norway, where Tafjord Mimer is an important customer for us. We already have a number of finished installations in Norway, and even more in the pipeline,” said Anders Lindén, CEO of Netadmin Systems.
The NETadmin system has taken the market by storm. Netadmin has quickly become the Nordic market leader and holds a sixty percent market share in Sweden. An important reason behind the system’s attractiveness is that it automates operations so effectively that many broadband network owners have been able to cut down their support and engineering staff by half. The deal has been struck in cooperation with Inteno Broadband Technology AS, one of Netadmin’s Norwegian partners. About Tafjord Mimer Tafjord Mimer AS is the leading broadband service provider in Norwegian Møre og Romsdal County. The company, founded in 1995, is a wholly owned subsidiary of Tafjord Kraft AS and has more than 20 000 customers and about NOK 100 million in annual revenue. The infrastructure is mainly built upon ADSL, but the company has also invested in FTTH technology, in order to be able to offer full triple-play solutions over fibre optic broadband networks.
