New CEO in Netadmin Systems
Netadmin Systems, a Swedish developer of software that automates operation and business processes in metropolitan, residential and other broadband networks, has hired Matthias Trygg as its new CEO.

Matthias Trygg (49 years old) last held a position with Motorola, where he was responsible for the BHS (Broadband Home Solution, Open IPTV Systems) business area in Europe. He has also been responsible for global product marketing of open standard based IPTV systems. Previous assignments include managing positions with Kreatel Communications AB, WM-data, Adcore Sweden AB and Ericsson.

The NETadmin product – a software system which automates operations for broadband network owners – has taken the market by storm, quickly becoming the Nordic market leader and claiming a sixty percent market share in Sweden. Netadmin is currently in a phase of international expansion.

“Netadmin is a company with remarkable potential. New municipal and regional broadband networks are developing rapidly all over the world, giving Netadmin with its strong home market position beneficial grounds for international expansion,”
said Matthias Trygg.

Matthias Trygg will assume his position on October 5th.

About the NETadmin Product
Netadmin’s fully automated system is very advantageous to users and network owners alike. An interesting feature is the ability for users to activate desired services by themselves, after which all required network changes are done automatically, without any human interference. This enables users to, for instance, choose a desired bandwidth, pick an internet service provider, or temporarily subscribe to a certain TV channel.

To the network owner, the system means considerably reduced operation costs and the ability to handle multiple times the current number of service subscribers using only existing resources. It also provides necessary flexibility when new service providers are connected and when new services, such as IP telephony or HDTV, are launched.
