The Network Operator user interface

NETadmin monitors all active hardware units and services and quickly identifies possible problems. The number of insignificant alerts is minimized by utilising filtering and grouping functions.

Service statistics and troubleshooting

The system presents easily accessible service statistics, current as well as archived. By identifying bottlenecks, groundwork for improving the network is laid out. Service status for different network units is colour-coded for optimal overview.

In order to maintain the highest levels of security, all communication and unit information (including passwords) stored in NETadmin’s database is encrypted.

Inventory register

NETadmin keeps track of all hardware units in the network and updates appropriate documentation automatically when changes occur. Advanced search functions make it easy to assemble listings of, for instance, all equipment at a certain location, of a certain kind, with a certain owner, having certain functions, and lots of other attributes.

Firmware upgrades

NETadmin keeps track of current firmware levels and configuration scripts in all units. Network units, alone or in groups, can be upgraded automatically or on demand. Port speeds and other parameters can be configured easily in a similar manner.

Other functions

A comprehensive ticket management system with defined workflows makes work a lot more effective. One module creates topology maps, in which users can zoom in on details easily.  DSL cables and their lengths are documented as well.

NETadmin’s monitoring system is scalable and can be distributed over a number of servers placed strategically in the network, so that events are reported as they occur.
