Netadmin has recently added a familiar face to the management team, Ulf Lindberg. Ulf, recently at Utsikt Bredband, joins Netadmin as the new Chief Commercial Officer. Ulf brings extensive knowledge from the fiber industry that will be valuable for Netadmin's continued growth. We sat down with him to ask about his new role.
Recently you've rejoined Netadmin as CCO. Could you tell us a bit more about yourself?
I'm 47 years old, and I live in Linköping with my wife and two teenage kids. I'm fairly active in my spare time. I sing in an acapella group and I like to exercise such as playing padel, floorball, go for a run or play golf with friends and family. I am involved in my son's floorball team as team manager and it's great fun to be part of the group and see the players and team grow.You have been away for a few years. What would you say is the most significant difference between Netadmin now and when you left?
Netadmin is a solid company with great skills and dedicated people. The input and way of working from Volaris have been a great push for Netadmin and have given the company the possibility to grow and flourish. It was very easy for me to rejoin the company; the Netadmin spirit is intact!How do you see Netadmin evolve in the next year, two years, or five years?
We have gained a lot of experience from the different markets we have been active in over the years, and I see that we have a more straight-to-the-point offering today than 5 years ago. This evolves the whole time, so we will keep on getting better and better to be able to provide the best-suited product to our customers no matter which stage of development they are in.You have been on both sides – both from the operator's side as well as the supplier's side. How have you seen the fiber industry evolve?
It's been steady growth for many years, and the recent impact of Covid-19 has put a lot of pressure on the fiber operators to be efficient in customer onboarding, to be able to quickly roll out fiber in new areas, and to be able to monitor and check the status of the network. It is also interesting to see what the different geographical markets can learn from each other. I mean, a fiber operator's challenges are similar to each other no matter which market you're on. I am quite certain that Netadmin can help and assist with these challenges, having customers in many countries and experiences from different markets.With your experience in the industry, what do you think you can contribute to the further development of Netadmin?
I have experience from both the operator and the supplier side and understand how a mission-critical system like Netadmin is handled in daily operation. I have also gained many contacts within the fiber operator business, which is valuable as input for Netadmin going forward.What do you look forward to the most when back with Netadmin?
There is huge potential in the market and huge potential in the company Netadmin to be part of the fiber journey, and we have the skills, drive, and passion for realizing it. I want us to help our customers to be the best.
