Say hello to Britta, our energic and excellent front-end developer Just a few weeks have passed, but it feels like she has been with us much longer. Now it’s finally time for you to get to know and say hello to Britta.

Hi Britta, can you describe your role at Netadmin?

I am one of the people who develop the system Netadmin, especially the frontend part of it. Both to ensure the system keeps working flawlessly and to keep up with developing new functions to make our customers’ days a bit easier.

What are you passionate about being a front-end developer at Netadmin?

I’m passionate about solving problems, finding solutions, and creating new things. I am also especially passionate about user-friendly design and making sure the user easily understands the system and how it can help them.

‘–Don’t be afraid to take space and speak well about yourself.
This was from a woman in the tech industry to me, just starting in the tech industry, as it’s not always easy being a woman in a man-dominated sector.’’

Tell us about your proudest work-related accomplishment.

That would be starting here, as this is my first job after graduating from university.

When and how come you start working here with us at Netadmin?

After finishing my education, I wasn’t sure exactly what I wanted to work with, but then when I read the description of this role it felt perfect. It involved every part I wanted to work with and Netadmin seemed like such a great company. And now I can say for certain that it is!

What is the best thing about Netadmin?

The people here are the best thing and the atmosphere. Everyone has been so welcoming and helpful and so glad to have me here. I’ve also thought about how there’s such a “we can do this”-mentality about everything; it really gives you a great feeling.

The quick ones

Now we want to know more about you - let’s take some quick ones.

Let’s start easily (or tricky) - how would you describe yourself in three words?

Positive, ambitious, and curious.

What's the best career advice you've ever been given?

Don’t be afraid to take space and speak well about yourself. This was from a woman in the tech industry to me, just starting in the tech industry, as it’s not always easy being a woman in a man-dominated sector.

What’s your passion outside work - your personal interest and hobbies?

I read a lot! So far, I’ve read over 70 books this year. Other than that, I play with my two cats, if they don’t think they’re getting enough attention they tend to scream at me while I work, which is quite distracting.

Who do you admire and why?

Sorry I honestly don’t know

What is played in your headphones?

When I’m working it’s almost always string quartets covers of pop songs – a quite niche genre I know.

At the top of my bucket list is…

I really want to see Christmas in New York, after having grown up seeing so many Christmas movies take place there with all the Santas and decorations.

If I could choose one superpower, that would be…

Flying! I’m growing quite tired of biking in the head-wind that seems constant here in Linköping so being able to fly would give me a nice break.

Once again very warm welcome, we are happy to have you
onboard!

And I’m happy to be here!
