Streamlining the Switching Process.
Netadmin offers an One Touch Switch (OTS) solution that can act standalone. It is an integrated part of Netadmin and the Order Management capability and facilitate the switching process and communication with the TOTSCo OTS hub. It is an "Insourced MAP solution" where we can help you with the test sessions if needed.
Background
The UK government has decided to implement the European Electronic Communications Code Directive, which includes switching. The gaining provider will lead the switching process. OFCOM has agreed to a One Touch Switching (OTS) approach. The outcome of this service switch will be that the end customer will only need to contact the gaining provider, which will perform the switch in the systems.
Netadmin has a clear goal of supporting our customers in the UK with all their fulfillment-related processes, including switching. Therefore, we have made the decision to create an integration to the TOTSCo hub. This integration is a product add-on to Netadmin that will be maintained and will be part of a long-term commitment to our customers.

Demo of a switch through the Hub
Netadmin OTS add-on module supports:
- Create a switch as gaining provider when placing an order or via API.
- Receive a switch as losing provider, schedule and effectuate disconnections.
- Overviews for switches, matches and “concerns”.
- Troubleshooting, rescheduling, trigger and cancellation tools for a switch.
- Communications for sending out “Implications”, “Cancel” and “Sorry to see you go" messages using HTML formatted templates with lookup variables.
- Synchronization of RCPs to a local directory.
- Settings pages for configuration of RCPID and hub settings.
Netadmin OTS add-on module supports the following scenarios:
1. Switching of Internet (IAS) only.
2. Switching of Internet (IAS) and Telephony (NBICS).
3. Switching of Internet (IAS) and retain Telephony (NBICS) at the LP.

Assumptions and limitations
- Charges from TOTSCo are not included in this solution. This is a technical solution for CPs for managing OTS, or "insourced MAP solution" as TOTSCo call it. The CP need to have a direct commercial relationship with TOTSCo.
- The add-on is designed to rely on Netadmin Order Management.
- Addresses are stored according to the Postcode Address File (PAF) standard.
- Integration with any external Customer Portals or CRM needs to communicate with the Netadmin API for OTS.
- The number porting process is not part of this add-on.
- We recommend storing the Unique Property Reference Number (UPRN) in a specific field in Netadmin.
