It provides a common language and approach to digital transformation, making it easier for organizations to work together and stay ahead of the competition.
TM Forum Process Framework & Functional Framework
TM Forum uses Process Framework and Functional Framework to define the business processes required for a telecommunications service provider to run its business and the applications and systems supporting those business processes. Process Framework focuses on the "what," while Functional Framework focuses on the "how."
We have made a high-level mapping of the Netadmin product towards the ODA framework using Process and Functional Framework.

TM Forum Information Framework (SID)
TM Forum Information Framework (SID - Shared Information and Data) is a data model that provides a common language for the telecommunications industry, enabling organizations to share information and collaborate more effectively. It defines a standard set of data objects and relationships that can be used across various business processes, from service design and delivery to network management and customer care.
Netadmin gets inspiration from the Information Framework (SID model). We learn from it and try to use the same terminology when possible.
TM Forum Open API
TM Forum Open API is a suite of standardized APIs that enable service providers to automate business processes and improve customer experiences. These APIs cover a range of functions, from billing and customer management to service delivery and network management. They are designed to be vendor-neutral and open, making it easier for service providers to integrate different systems and services.
Netadmin evaluates the TM Forum Open API and what parts we might implement. Our understanding is that the most relevant APIs within Open API for our customers would be:
Netadmin will continue to align with and get inspiration from TM Forum specifications and standards. This has to do with our long-term product goal to stay relevant to our customer's needs and also to make it easier to integrate with Netadmin from other systems.
